Terms of Service
Effective date: 20 September 2026**
These terms apply to every mobile game published by Impact Code Analysis, impactcodeanalysis.com ("we", "us"), including Sackline and any game we release later. Each game also has its own privacy policy, linked from its store listing, which explains what data that game handles.
By downloading or playing one of our games, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.
1. Who may play
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent where you live if that age is higher. If you are under 18, you may only play with a parent or guardian's permission, and they accept these terms on your behalf. Our games are rated for general audiences but are not directed at children under 13.
2. Your license to play
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and play our games on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment.
You may not:
- modify, decompile, reverse engineer or create derivative works from a game, except where that right cannot lawfully be excluded;
- use bots, scripts, emulators, memory editors or modified clients to play, automate play, or alter scores, currency or unlocks;
- redistribute, sell, sublicense or rent a game or any part of it;
- attempt to access parts of our services you are not authorized to reach, or interfere with their normal operation.
3. Virtual currency and virtual items
Our games contain virtual currency (such as coins) and virtual items (such as cosmetic sacks, trails, scenes, sounds and power-ups). Read this section carefully, because it governs everything you earn or buy inside a game.
- Virtual currency and virtual items are licensed to you, not sold. You do not own them.
- They have no monetary value, cannot be redeemed for cash or anything of value outside the game, and cannot be transferred, sold or traded to another person.
- Your license to use them lasts only as long as we operate that game, and ends if your access is terminated under section 8.
- We may add, change, rebalance, restrict, suspend or remove virtual currency, virtual items, prices, earn rates and game features at any time, including for reasons of game balance. This may affect items you have already earned or bought.
- Seasonal or limited-time items are available to purchase only during their stated period. Items already acquired remain available to use, but we do not guarantee any item will be offered again.
- Except where the law requires otherwise, purchases of virtual currency and virtual items are final and non-refundable.
4. Purchases
Purchases are processed by the app store you installed the game from — Google Play or the Apple App Store — under that store's own terms. We never receive or store your payment details.
Refunds are handled by that store under its policy, not by us. If you believe you were charged in error, contact the store first. We may choose to help, but we cannot process or reverse a payment ourselves.
If a purchase does not unlock what it should, contact us and we will try to help restore it.
5. Advertising
Free versions of our games display advertising supplied by third-party advertising networks. Some ads are optional and rewarded: they only play when you choose to watch one in exchange for something in the game.
We do not create, select or control the specific ads shown, and we are not responsible for advertisers' content, products or websites. Where a game offers a paid option to remove advertising, that option removes the ad formats described in its store listing.
6. Leaderboards, competitive play and fair use
Some games offer scores, rankings or leaderboards, which may use a platform service such as Google Play Games Services under that service's own terms.
You agree to submit only scores you achieved by playing normally. We may remove scores, reset rankings, or restrict access to competitive features where we reasonably believe a score was obtained by cheating, tampering, exploiting a defect, or otherwise not by ordinary play. We may also reset leaderboards periodically as part of normal operation.
7. Availability, updates and discontinuation
We provide our games on an "as available" basis. We may update, change, suspend or discontinue any game, feature or service at any time, with or without notice.
If we permanently discontinue a game, we will make reasonable efforts to give advance notice through the store listing or in the game. You will not be entitled to a refund of previous purchases, except where the law requires one.
Progress in our games is normally stored on your device. Uninstalling a game, clearing its data, resetting progress or changing devices may permanently erase it. We are not able to recover lost progress.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using a game at any time by uninstalling it.
We may suspend or terminate your access to a game or to online features if you breach these terms, in particular sections 2 and 6. Where it is reasonable and practical to do so, we will tell you why.
9. Intellectual property
Our games, and their code, artwork, characters, sounds, music, names and logos, belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Nothing in these terms transfers any of those rights to you. You may capture and share screenshots and video of ordinary gameplay, including for streaming and video platforms.
10. Feedback
If you send us suggestions, bug reports or ideas, we may use them without restriction and without owing you payment, credit or confidentiality. You keep any rights you already had in what you sent.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our games are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that a game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that defects will be corrected.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, progress, virtual currency, virtual items, profits or goodwill, arising from or relating to your use of our games.
Our total liability for any claim relating to a game will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for that game and its in-app purchases in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) ten US dollars.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of a game, to the extent permitted by law.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the effective date above and, where the change is material, give notice in the game or on the store listing. Continuing to play after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the game and uninstall it.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country where you live, or of the right to bring proceedings there.
16. General
If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the privacy policy for the game you are playing, are the entire agreement between you and us about that game.
